I’ve always loved working with people to help them achieve the best possible outcome in their health. In high school, I had a few sports injuries, and from that point on, I knew I wanted to work in orthopedics.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my practice is helping patients understand all their options so they can make the best decisions for their care. In orthopedics, there’s almost always more than one treatment available. A big part of my job is to help patients and their families decide which option is the best match — not just for their physical needs, but for their emotional, financial, logistical, and social ones, too.
I love being there for patients and helping them when they truly need it. It’s also fun watching patients get better after an injury or surgery. The human body is amazing in its ability to heal, and it’s an honor and privilege to be part of that process.
