Jorgelina T de Sanctis, MD

Jorgelina de Sanctis, MD, FACP, is board certified in internal medicine and infectious disease. She earned her medical degree from the National University of Rosario in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, and a HIV/AIDS master's degree from the University of Barcelona in Spain. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Hospital Provincial de Rosario in Argentina and the Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center. She completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan where she served as associate hospital epidemiologist and staff member of the Infectious Disease Division. In the most recent years, she was appointed as associated staff at the Infectious Disease Department of the Cleveland Clinic.

Her special interests are Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Clostridium difficile (C. difficile), neuro infectious disease, bone and joint infections, and infections from cardiac devices.
