Dr Joseph Ortiz is the quarterback for several specialists who have handled several life threatening illnesses in my last 3 years. Including hesrt surgeries and thyroid cancer. Plus a serious fall resulting in 2 broken ribs and a punctured lung and a week in The trauma unit. Plus a sleeping disorder going from 43 events per hour to under 5 events and 15. Different masks. Dr. Ortiz truly carefully analyzed my blood work ups and the interplay of the various medications from various specialists to be sure I was moving in the right direction to to leading a highly independent life as a 76 year old one month away from 77! This year I lost a significant amount of weight and back to a balance, stretching, light strength training class for seniors and have taken 4 Balance and Falling classes at iMove. My doctor provides me with good advice and encouragement with a good dose of kindness This combination of knowledge and expertise enables me to risk doing the many things needed for a healthier life style.

Dr Ortiz is very caring and personable. He takes the time to explain things in language that I can understand.
