Patients often ask me how I decided to become a neuropsychologist. I tell them I’ve always been interested in the complexities of how people think and behave. I truly enjoy working through the process of helping my patients develop a better understanding of their own functioning, and helping them apply this understanding to improve their quality of life.

In my practice, I value a comfortable care environment with open, honest communication. I find that when these conditions are met, it allows patients to feel understood and supported. This, in turn, helps me identify the best approach to their needs.

I’m most passionate about working with patients in their recovery from events such as stroke and traumatic brain injury. For me, there’s something profoundly fulfilling in helping someone regain cognitive function after such a life-changing illness or injury.
