I went into medicine because I believe everyone deserves a physician who truly listens and provides thoughtful, evidence-based care. I was always drawn to the combination of science and human connection, and being present for patients during the most important moments of their lives.

My care philosophy is rooted in collaboration. You and I are a team. Medical decisions are guided by the most up to date, evidence-based care, as well as empathy and your personal goals and preferences. I'm especially passionate about preventive medicine, with a strong focus on vaccination and chronic disease prevention. I strive to create a compassionate, inclusive, and safe environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, that includes affirming care for LGBTQIA+ patients.  

I truly believe we can catch health problems early when we focus on preventive medicine, including vaccine education and chronic disease management. I’m often asked, what should I really be doing to stay healthy? My answer is always stay up to date on vaccines, focus on sleep, eat well, move often, and take care of your mental health. Making small, sustainable steps often makes a bigger impact than extreme short-term fixes.

To earn the "Safe and Affirming" designation, providers individually complete an online training program which includes modules developed by the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center. For more information, click here.
