Joshua T Dilworth, MD

Joshua T. Dilworth, M.D., Ph.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in radiation oncology. Following his graduation from the University of Michigan, Dr. Dilworth earned his medical degree and Ph.D. in cancer biology from Wayne State University. He completed his residency in radiation oncology with Corewell Health, where he accepted his current staff position. Dr. Dilworth is an assistant professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and serves as a professional and research mentor to medical students. He specializes in caring for patients with breast cancer and offers hypofractionated (short-course) treatment, partial breast irradiation (APBI), intra-operative radiation therapy (IORT), hyperthermia (heating treatments in combination with radiation therapy), radiation therapy following breast reconstruction, and proton therapy. Dr. Dilworth is an integral member of the multi-disciplinary Breast Care Center and participates in intramural and national clinical trials that give Corewell patients access to cutting edge treatments and safe, individualized cancer care.
