Prior to health care, I worked with children as a social worker. Those experiences inspired me to learn more about injury and disease, and eventually inspired me to become a physician assistant. I have also worked in urgent care and remain passionate about acute problems and injuries as a family medicine provider.

My history as a social worker taught me the value of listening carefully to my patients. My goal is to learn about the whole person. I ask questions not just about your medical condition and symptoms, but also about your psychological and social environment in which you live and work. Understanding your circumstances, needs, and goals helps us work together to find the best solutions to your concerns.

Working alongside my patients to address their needs gives me a lot of joy. I love when I get to see a difficult condition improve and reach a positive resolution.
