Karen M Dempsey, MD

 After years of building primary and family care practices within larger hospital systems as well as teaching the next generation of family practitioners; my husband, and I established our independent practice to provide the highest level of patient-centered care.  We want to build long-term relationships with patients and support their health through every stage of life.

We want to Partner with our patients.  We are dedicated to the mission to promote whole-person care—physical, mental, and spiritual in addition to sharing evidence-based knowledge that helps patients actively participate in their health and wellness. 

I am grateful for the recent recognition as one of Grand Rapids Top Docs, but I credit our entire staff, “Together”, we achieve our mission to serve neighbors, friends and families.  I am blessed and honored for the opportunity.
