I got into health care because I love caring for people. I’ve always been fascinated by pregnancy and childbirth, and knew when I started nursing school, I wanted to be a midwife. I love teaching my patients about what their bodies are going through, not only during pregnancy but throughout different stages of life.

I’m often asked, “Is this normal?” Everyone experiences pregnancy a little differently. I always take time to provide clear explanations so that you can understand and recognize what’s “normal,” what isn’t, and what you can do make their experience better if something doesn’t feel good or seem right.

Being able to participate in one of the most important moments in a person's life brings me the most joy.
