Katie was very rude from the start, she did not listen to us, and felt like she was trying to justify her position. We have a child with multiple rare syndromes that MFM missed in the past, and so we asked questions when we heard things that didn’t make sense and she dismissed us as if we were incompetent. She could not seem to get over that we choose to have most of our care for any medical things in life handled outside of Corewell.

I would definitely be willing to see this provider again. I think her recommendations were appropriate and timely. I would have liked to receive more practical and functional steps and goals for day to day living. For example, if the meal examples are not adequate, she could recommend an appropriate meal or substitutes instead of only giving generic advice and dietary restrictions.
