I pursued a career in medicine because I wanted to provide quality health care to patients and families and make sure that they always feel heard and understood. I am especially passionate about early childhood development, asthma and allergy care, preventive medicine, and public health initiatives for infants and children.
My approach to care is founded on shared decision-making. I practice evidence-based medicine and follow American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines while simultaneously ensuring families have the information and tools they need to advocate for themselves and make the best possible choices for the children.
It is deeply rewarding to have a positive impact on a child’s growth and development. After many years in practice, it is still the best part of the job.

She had good medical reasoning as to why my daughter needed to be evaluated by pt for her knee instead of getting a back X-ray for scoliosis. She also confirmed a murmur with my son, and I appreciated her feedback and advice.

Would like more information when discussing childs health. Would like to not have to be direct and ask multiple specific questions to only somewhat get the answers I need.
