She was fine as a provider. Since the standard at Corewell health does not include a breast exam with a visit in person because that is taken care of by a mammogram, and a Pap smear is only every once in five years now, there seems to be a little reason to actually visit in person. Besides looking at my ears and listening to my lungs, there is not much else that a physician actually does without charging more. She’s doing the best she can with the parameters that have been set by the corporate Corewell health.

I was really worried about judgement and shame during this visit as I’ve experienced this in the past (at a completely different doctors office). Kayla made me feel incredibly safe and heard. Talking with her helped me feel excited about my health instead of anxious. I really can’t thank her enough.
