I've always enjoyed problem solving and learning new things. Working in healthcare gives me the opportunity to do both every day while helping people navigate challenges and improve their health.

My approach to patient care is based on partnership and shared decision-making. I offer my clinical experience but also take time to understand each patient’s goals and values. That way, we can choose a care plan together — one that that feels right and will lead to the best possible outcome.

I love working in urgent care. It’s very satisfying to be able to quickly provide assessment and treatment that often leads to an immediate, tangible improvement. Helping people feel better and more at ease during a time of need brings me a lot of joy.

To earn the "Safe and Affirming" designation, providers individually complete an online training program which includes modules developed by the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center. For more information, click here.
