Kim L Alt, MD

Dr. Kim Alt is a native of West Michigan, having grown up in Muskegon.  She received her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University and then crossed Lake Michigan to attend medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Dr. Alt stayed in Milwaukee for her pediatric residency and trained at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.  Following completion, Kim returned to West Michigan, where she has been practicing for several years.  She is a board-certified pediatrician and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She lives with her husband, 2 children and bulldog Phil.  In her free time, (which is minimal with 2 small children - she can definitely sympathize with all of the busy moms out there!), she enjoys yoga, golfing, attending MSU sporting events and taking (very rare) naps. She loves all aspects of taking care of pediatric patients and their families, but has a particular soft spot for the nuances of caring for adolescent girls.  Her other special interests include breastfeeding, anxiety and depression, and nutrition and obesity counseling.
