As an urgent care provider, I treat people with a wide variety of sudden but non-life-threatening issues, such as sore throat, earaches, UTIs, and minor injuries. I can also connect my patients with other medical specialists if a higher level of care is required.

I also work in family medicine. And when I see patients in urgent care, I like to give them practical advice and guidance on things they can do to avoid urgent care or the emergency department in the future. It is deeply rewarding to help my patients feel better and help them learn from their experiences.

To earn the "Safe and Affirming" designation, providers individually complete an online training program which includes modules developed by the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center. For more information, click here.
