About the Provider

Kuei Lee, MD, PhD, MPH completed his undergraduate training at the University of Michigan with a focus in cellular and molecular biology. He subsequently pursued graduate studies at the University of Michigan in the Department of Biological Chemistry with an interest in the development of molecular imaging biomarkers for assessing treatment response in solid tumors. With an interest in research, he proceeded to do a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan in the Department of Radiology with the goal of developing clinically useful imaging biomarkers for early non-invasive detection of treatment response. During this period, Dr. Lee participated in a number of clinical imaging studies and trials, and was involved in the development of a novel imaging technique for early assessment of treatment response in solid tumors using diffusion-weighted MRI. He subsequently pursued the combined MD/MPH program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in conjunction with the University of Texas School of Public Health. Upon graduation, he completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Beaumont Health, and is certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Lee has a special interest in CNS and Head & Neck.
