Lara A Freeburger, MD

I became a doctor because I love science, teaching, and helping others. One of the best parts of practicing medicine is forming relationships with my patients — getting to know them and where they’re coming from. I’m particularly passionate about providing obstetric care, performing annual gynecologic exams, and guiding patients through menopause.

In my practice, I love being asked questions about how the body works and how pregnancy works. I’m fascinated by the human body and the biological and physical processes that allow us to create and sustain human life. I enjoy talking to patients and explaining the medical side of things so they can make informed decisions about their own health.

In my job, no two days are the same. There is always something new going on, because people are all different. I deeply value that in my work, I have an opportunity to make a difference in a wide variety of people’s lives.
