Laura Gorman, PhD

Dr. Gorman is a licensed psychologist specializing in cancer and palliative care psychology. She earned her master’s degree in clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling from University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and her doctorate in counseling psychology from University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Dr. Gorman completed her predoctoral internship in health psychology and her postdoctoral fellowship in oncology psychology and palliative care, with a subspeciality area of focus on pain psychology at Milwaukee VA Medical Center in Wisconsin. Her clinical interests include cancer and palliative care psychology, pain psychology and rehabilitation psychology.

To earn the "Safe and Affirming" designation, providers individually complete an online training program which includes modules developed by the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center. For more information, click here.
