Laura, is a great listener, knows her stuff and explains things in a way that’s not demeaning or condescending. She also works WITH you on a plan with options.

Love having her as my provider. I hope Corewell provides support to the office as well so I don’t ever get pushed off my yearly scheduled visits. The wait can become long and worrisome if I ever need to reschedule.

Laura, is an exceptional provider!
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 12/18/2025
I had a telehealth appointment. The screener did not sign on until at least 5 to 7 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. Once done with her, I waited for at least an additional 20 to 30 minutes for the doctor to come on. Not really what I’ve come to expect with telehealth appointments.

Helpful and thoughtful advice

I have been having a three year issue with my hip and leg area and Laura referred me to a different kind of Physical Therapist. She just seems to know services and can recommend new ways to treat an old Problem.
- 3 out of 5 starsReviewed on 11/18/2025
She seemed irritated and annoyed at the recommendations I had received from another provider. It felt personal. I found her recommendations to be vague. I didn’t feel like she was listening to me-more focused on telling me what she wouldn’t have recommended had I seen her first (which I couldn’t because I couldn’t get an appointment for 6 months). I left a bit confused and also feeling ashamed because I had followed another provider’s recommendation.

She was AWESOME!! She's one of a kind. She listened AND heard ALL of my concerns. Addressed them without judgment. I would like to become her patient 🙂.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 9/18/2025
In addition to what I have already given a rating for, I appreciated that Laura took the time to look up the cost of the prescriptions we were discussing. This made a big impact on me. Also Laura was really comfortable to talk with and learn from.

She presents with a strong bedside. She's short and quick to be condemning. "I told you this last time." Other than that, I feel she has excellent expertise in this very specialized field and wants to see her patients' quality of life improve.

I think I provided it in the first section but she is wonderful. She listens to me and makes me feel like no question is dumb. She doesn't rush me either and helps be informed on my healthcare.

Im a nurse. I don't feel like I was listened too. I felt incredibly depressed when I left to the point of tears. I felt defeated. I've struggled with my weight my whole life! Telling me I'm overweight and the answer is meds when I'm telling you even a weight loss pill caused extreme GI upset isn't listening. Meds are not a healthy way to lose weight and cost money. Weight loss is diet, exercise, and definitely a mental game! How about help in those areas? I've been at this up and down weight for 50 years...and in health care for over 40 years. Yes I want to lose weight! It's not easy! But some emotional support would be great. I'll seek it on my own. I'll find a way on my own. I know where to look...but do your other pts? Just frustrated. Listen. Treat the pt individually. Don't treat the computer. Everyone is different. Pts want to be heard. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Part of my discomfort was due to my provider's retirement. I'm not sure the new one is a good fit. What she offers seems to be more narrowly focused
- 3 out of 5 starsReviewed on 2/11/2025
She needs to work on her bedside manners.
