Laura M Nadeau, MD

Laura Nadeau MD, is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the subspecialty boards of medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Nadeau graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Michigan with a degree in Chemical Engineering. She then went to Case Western Reserve University Medical School in Cleveland, Ohio, where she received The Alfred S. Maschke Award for Excellence in the Art and Practice of Medicine. Dr. Nadeau completed her internal medicine residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Ohio. She remains board-certified in Internal Medicine. In addition, she completed her fellowship in hematology and oncology at The Ireland Cancer Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and remains board-certified in both. Dr. Nadeau is a principal investigator on clinical trials at Beaumont and has been appointed to a Medical Oncology key teaching faculty position. Dr. Nadeau has also been recognized as 'Hour Detroit Top Doctor' for multiple years. She has been appointed as breast cancer teaching faculty for the breast surgery fellowship program and is the President of Hematology Oncology Consultants Division of MHP. Her clinical interests include Breast Cancer, benign and malignant hematology and Pancreas Cancer. Her professional affiliations include the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American College of Physicians, and Michigan Society of Hematology and Oncology. She holds a teaching faculty position and an assistant professorship at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.
