My clinical interests include pediatric plastic surgery, hand surgery for both congenital conditions and traumatic injuries, peripheral nerve injuries, facial nerve palsy, and pediatric hand burn reconstruction.
Making sure my patients feel comfortable is important to me and I recognize that the very idea of surgery can be intimidating. One of the most common questions I hear is, “Do we really need to do surgery?”
Sometimes the answer to that is yes, sometimes no. In every case, I make sure to discuss the pros and cons of each procedure in order to try and help my patients and their families make the decision that is best for them.

They were very warm and kind regarding my daughter and it wasn’t long before my stranger-averse daughter was smiling and laughing under their care. I want to stress that this was an exceptional level of bedside manner by creating an environment where she appeared calm, relaxed and even playful up to and even after the MRI.
