About the Provider

I went into family medicine to make a difference in people’s lives—just like a doctor made a difference in mine. I was born with Duane’s Retraction Syndrome, which caused me to have a lazy eye and double vision. I adored my ophthalmologist and wanted to be just like her. After my eye surgery at age 4, I decided to become a doctor, and my dreams never changed.

When my patients tell me about their struggles, I am grateful to know they trust me. When they share their triumphs, I share in celebrating their wins. I find joy in building long-term relationships with them and helping them improve their lives.

My clinical interests include women’s health, pediatrics, and culinary and lifestyle medicine. Food, exercise, good sleep, avoiding risky substances, stress management and positive relationships go a long way toward preserving health and longevity. I’m always excited to talk about food and cooking with my patients and share healthy, delicious recipes!
