As a new patient, who has had great anxiety in going to see doctors, (I shared this) there seem to be a lack of warmth or any connection- I got more warmth and connection from the medical assistant who brought me into the room -I get that time is money and they have scheduled to keep. But it seemed so flat- I’m looking for a doctor, as I am now almost in my 60s, who I can connect to and build a doctor-patient relationship with and I didn’t feel any connection. I felt she needed to go by the book. She asked her questions. She gave me a form to go see a gynecologist and a form to get a mammogram. Perhaps this is the way doctors are now. Never used to be this way and now I really miss my old doctor, who sadly has retired
