I got into medicine because I’ve always been drawn to helping people in a meaningful way. I love that my job allows me to support entire families through their challenges, celebrate their milestones, and sometimes just provide a listening ear when they’re worried.

Knowledge is power. I am passionate about teaching in any form, whether it’s helping my patients and their families learn more about their care while in the hospital, or teaching the next generation of medical providers. I am involved in both student teaching and nursing education.

There’s something incredibly special about helping a little one through an illness, then seeing them bounce back to their playful, curious selves.
