Maha S Jawad, MD

Maha Saada Jawad, MD, is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Nuclear Engineering & Radiological Sciences. She went on to complete her medical education at the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed her residency training in Radiation Oncology at Beaumont Health System. She is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology. Dr. Jawad is an Assistant Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with clinical practice locations at the Royal Oak and Dearborn campuses. She serves as the Medical Student Clerkship Director for Radiation Oncology, and is a professional and research mentor to medical students. Her clinical focus is in treating breast and gynecological cancers, as well as high-dose-rate brachytherapy treatments. Her research interests are also in breast and gynecologic cancers. Dr. Jawad is fluent in Arabic.
