Mark Dwyer, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon in the Corewell Health System with offices in Canton and Taylor. He is a fellowship-trained specialist in hip and knee replacement as well as revision joint surgery. He is very active in education with the Beaumont Orthopedic Surgery residency program. He also serves on many quality initiatives aimed at providing excellent care of orthopedic patients. Helping patients return to the activities they love with as little pain as possible is his goal and what drew him to orthopedics. Dr. Dwyer is from Port Huron, MI and has done the majority of his training in the Detroit area. This familiarity helps in relating to patients and understanding the particular needs of each individual. He believes strongly in exhausting non-operative care prior to any surgical procedure. He also values educating his patients on all treatment options and involving the patient in their care decisions. Outside of his practice Dr. Dwyer is an avid Detroit sports fan and an experienced guitarist.

He is a very caring doctor and takes good care of his patience. The only thing I didn’t like was after my surgery I never saw him. I ended up seeing other doctors that helped with him in the operating room.
