I like my dr

She was dismissive when speaking to us about our concerns for additional support from a dietitian. She made me feel incompetent when asking questions and I did not feel supported in any way shape or form.

She is very nice and direct on what needs to be done. She talks very welcoming and healthy and always gives options and her best opinions.

I like her. Nice bedside manner.

I was very please to see her this time because most of time I visit her office is only her assistant the one that takes care of me. I’m not saying that is bad but just that I glad that Dr. Mary was there personally to take care of me.

I’m just thankful for her and I hope she doesn’t go anywhere. She’s smart, kind, funny, relatable. Hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had.

Her bedside manner was awful. I left in tears and cried in the parking lot. I did not feel that she wanted to learn about what was happening to me - she told me that we "need to wrap this up" after very little time in the room and only asking me a few questions. She never even looked closely at my face or skin and never touched me at all. I feel like she only wanted to medicate me and when I didn't want to go that route, she asked me "what are you hoping to get out of this visit?" I was hoping to figure out what was wrong with me or get a referral to someone who could help. Not just get put on pills.

She just seemed in a hurry.

Mary was very kind and it was comfortable,and I felt at ease with her demeanor.

If someone comes in for an eye check cause it’s causing pain and has swelling maybe at least look in the patients eye. Don’t tell a patient to “just deal with it”. I paid for her to look at my eye and she stood by the computer & sink area the whole time. Total waste of my $25, and I left work early to do so.

She explained everything

As I mentioned earlier, she didn't listen very well. Also, she asked questions about things that showed she did not review my chart before seeing me. I'm sure she has a ton of patients, but I felt like she thought I had never been in the office before despite being a decades long patient.

Always professional

It has taken me quite awhile to find a provider I’m comfortable with, my previous provider did not address my concerns in the way I thought they should have been addressed. This lead me to avoid going to the doctor for a few years. I’m very grateful to have Dr.Nguyen as my provider, as I feel genuinely safe with her. Bonus points to her and this practice for calling to ask how my pain was doing after my IUD insertion.

She told me different options if I needed if I didn’t feel better but she would not give those options when I called back 2 days later

My PCP felt rushed as if she had other appointments to get to and was not able to explain to me what was happening. She immediately referred me to another Dr or told me I could schedule another appointment because I was too emotional and needed to take time to decide. We were not able to do the procedure and she attempted to explain to me why, but I didn't really understand. I don't mind going to another Dr and asking for help when my PCP did not feel confident she could do the procedure, but I struggled to explain to the new Dr why exactly it couldn't be done. The procedure itself was very quiet and I could have been told a bit more what was happening.

They seemed to care

I haven't left the house in 12 days except to go to your office. The last thing I'm interested in doing is going in again when my symptoms are exactly the same. I waited an hour to see Dr. Nguyen, and when she came in, she seemed bothered, disinterested, and proceeded to ask me, "What's up?" She never even bothered to introduce herself. I'm sure you can understand the frustration, seeing as I'd already completed the check-in form listing my symptoms, described them to the competent nurse, and spent more time discussing my condition with Kyle, her much more professional medical student, than with her. In addition, I also paid a co-pay. Scheduling yet another appointment would just be going through that process and payment all over again.

I did have a 330 appointment but I didn’t get seen until 4 o’clock. I know that people get behind, but it would’ve been good for somebody to come in and tell me that they’re running behind. Other than that, they are normally on time.
