About the Provider

Mathew Chung, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon specializing in surgical oncology and gastroenterologic surgery. Dr. Chung earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his residency in general surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Chung completed his surgical oncology fellowship at the John Wayne Cancer Center in Santa Monica, California.

He has special interests in the esophagus, pancreas, liver, stomach, endocrine system as well as melanoma, sarcoma and intraperitoneal hyperthermic chemotherapy.
