Dr. Karek is very easy to talk to and listens with focus and deals with concerns promptly and orders are entered immediately.

Everything was great

I got very good surgical results. I can tell they are a very busy practice. The support staff were able to spend adequate time with me. Dr. Karek must be very busy as my appointment with him went very quickly. It felt like a very minimal exam. I actually would have preferred to see a PA and have more time with them. He could have come in for a review at the end. I understand that medical practices across the country are understaffed and time with doctors has to be limited to see more patients. Even so, I would definitely see him again if I need additional surgery.

He appeared rushed, I’m sure he’s busy. Probably too busy. Very knowledgeable, went over MRI. Made another referral. Hopefully seeing his colleague will help me with my back Issues.

Explained well about why surgery would be helpful and how it would proceed. I had information that he didn't ask for and I found it hard to explain without interrupting his questions or train of thought.

After asking a few questions related to the options provided the surgeon commented, wow you will be doing surgery in no time. I did not appreciate how he rushed through the consultation, and how he responded when I asked questions. This is a significant surgery and I had expected more from Corewell.
