Meghan R Harper-Shankie, MD

Meghan Harper-Shankie, MD, is the Director of the Pediatric Neuromuscular Program at Corewell Children's Hospital Royal Oak and is a staff pediatric neurologist through Corewell Children's. She is board-certified in pediatrics and neurology with a special qualification in child neurology. Dr. Harper Shankie has a special interest in working with patients with pediatric neuromuscular diseases as well as headaches, epilepsy, tics and Tourette syndrome, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She serves as the director of the Neuromuscular Clinic, a multidisciplinary MDA care center. Her passion is caring for children with special needs and their families.
