Michelle Harness, PA-C

I chose family medicine because it allows me to care for people—not just conditions—through every stage of life. I love building long-term relationships with my patients, caring for entire families, and walking alongside them as they grow, change, and work toward healthier lives. There is something deeply meaningful about being a trusted partner in a patient’s health journey, from childhood through adulthood and beyond.

My undergraduate background in nutrition and my passion for preventive medicine naturally led me to family medicine, where wellness, education, and early intervention truly make a difference. I enjoy helping patients understand their health and empowering them to make choices that support long-term vitality. 

At Partners in Family Health, I am fulfilled by serving a mission that aligns so closely with my own values—providing compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care in a setting that truly prioritizes relationships. I’m proud to be part of a practice that believes excellent medicine happens when providers have the time, support, and commitment to treat the whole person.

Outside of work, I’m an avid marathon runner and a strong believer in balance. Partners in Family Health supports my ability to care deeply for my patients while also caring for my family and my own health and wellness. Living in Michigan allows me to enjoy running and exploring all the incredible outdoor activities our state has to offer—something that continually renews my energy and passion for both life and medicine.
