Mohamad Bakkar, MD

I became a pediatric hematologist/oncologist because I wanted to care for children with cancer and blood disorders during some of the most difficult moments in their lives. My clinical interests mainly target leukemia and lymphoma, and I am committed to providing thoughtful and individualized care for every child and family. 

I believe families deserve clear communication, compassion, and a care team that listens. I work to build trusting relationships with patients/caregivers, answer questions honestly, and support them throughout diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. My goal is for each family to know that I care deeply about their child and will work with them every step of the way.
