Mohammed D Turfe, DO

Medicine is my way of giving back. I come from a family of public servants who dedicated their careers to making a difference in the community. Now, I support that same community by helping people achieve their best health. I’m particularly interested in chronic disease management, osteopathic manipulative treatment, men’s health, and sports medicine.

My approach to care is holistic. I look at how your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health is all interconnected. I stress the importance of preventive health because it’s easier to  establish healthy habits than treating and managing a chronic condition later in life. Education is another pillar my care philosophy. Knowledge is power, and I provide plenty of information so you feel empowered to make informed health care decisions.

Seeing patients change from a position of helplessness and doubt to motivation and courage in tackling their health problems reminds me why I am in this field.
