Caring for people is the entire reason why I went into medicine. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with amazing, resilient patients every day. In addition to my work in hospice and palliative care, I also teach the next generation of nurses and educate new team members.

My approach to care centers around getting to know you. I want to know your story, your hopes, and your fears so we can match your health care to your needs. And if you face any barriers to your health care, I will do my best to understand and bridge those gaps.

I’m honored to take care of people in some of the most difficult times of their lives. My work provides a great glimpse of humanity. I’ve seen spouses taking care of spouses, children taking care of parents, and even strangers showing up for each other. It is a truly beautiful thing to witness daily. The strength I see every day from patients and loved ones fills me with gratitude.
