About the Provider
As a Nurse Practitioner, I provide patient care, diagnose and treat illnesses, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and counsel patients about their care plan. My current area of focus is Pulmonology, the branch of medicine that deals with diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the respiratory system, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and lung cancer.
As my patient, you can expect me to ask lots of questions to help me better understand your current health issues and formulate a plan for evaluation and treatment. One thing I focus on is explaining how your condition is impacting all areas of your life, not just your physical health. We’ll then build a plan together to address your concerns and optimize your ability to live your life with fewer restrictions.
I am energized when patients report improvement or resolution of their symptoms. Few things in life are more satisfying to me than to know that I’ve helped someone feel better.
