About the Provider
Robert Morden, MD, is a pediatric surgeon at Corewell Children's, where he is currently the director of Pediatric Trauma. He specializes in pediatric general and thoracic surgery. Raised in the thumb area of Michigan, he went on to attend the College of William and Mary in Virginia and Wayne State University in Detroit for his undergraduate degree. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University as well. He completed a General Surgery Residency at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, Michigan and a Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at Babies Hospital Columbia Presbyterian in New York. Board-certified in Pediatric Surgery since 1983, he has been practicing Pediatric Surgery in the Detroit area since 1982. His clinical interests include biliary atresia, pectus excavatum and newborn surgery. He enjoys resident and medical student teaching and is an associate professor of surgery at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
