Rohan L Deraniyagala, MD

Rohan Deraniyagala, MD, is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received his medical degree from Wayne State University. He then completed his residency at the University of Florida and a proton therapy fellowship at the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute. He is board- certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology. He is an assistant professor in radiation oncology at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine seeing patients at both the Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital and Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital campuses. His special interests are head and neck malignancies as well as proton therapy. Dr. Deraniyagala maintains an active role in clinical research and has numerous peer reviewed publications in such areas as proton therapy and head and neck tumors.
