Ronald E Seagle, MD

I grew up in a small town in the Upper Peninsula. There were three local physicians, all of whom were highly respected and very generous. I decided to pursue a career in medicine because I was inspired by their example.

Although I had originally intended to return home after graduating from Michigan State, I stayed nearby to work as a family medicine physician and help train medical students. Later, I transitioned into caring for patients with terminal diagnoses in hospice.

I am passionate about senior health care, hospice care, and teaching. It brings me great joy and satisfaction to help my patients and their families understand their medical options, so that they can make confident, informed decisions.

To earn the "Safe and Affirming" designation, providers individually complete an online training program which includes modules developed by the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center. For more information, click here.
