About the Provider
When I was young, my grandfather had a massive heart attack with a limited chance of survival. Watching him recover to the point where he was able to undergo coronary artery bypass surgery and then live 10+ years afterward was amazing to me.
Witnessing the health care he received and all of the providers and physicians helping him along the way inspired me to go into medicine myself. Experiencing firsthand the positive impact they had on my grandfather and family, I knew I had to be part of extending that same experience to other people.
In my work with patients, I don’t focus on just treating or managing their disease. I aim to treat the person and their needs. In medical school I was told that the needs of the patient come first, and that is truly how I approach each patient.
