She practiced in general pediatrics, then Pediatric Allergy and Pulmonary subspecialties in the Chicagoland area before joining the Pediatric Pulmonology team at HDVCH in 2013. She gained invaluable experience working with pulmonary team before transitioning to HDVCH’s Allergy group in 2020. Her special interests include: Pediatric Food Allergy, Asthma, Eczema care, and patient education.

We had a great experience with Sarah Baker. She spoke directly with my son upon walking into the room to help him feel comfortable and included. I feel like she listened very well, addressed all concerns we had, and did a great job educating and laying out a plan of care moving forward regarding my son’s allergies. I feel fully confident in her expertise. She seemed very knowledgeable in area of practice. This was one of the best experiences we have had so far and I would highly recommend her to any parent who has a child with allergies.

We enjoy Sarah, she listens to our families individual needs, my son has multiple things going on along with his asthma/allergy diagnosis and she always handles it in stride and shows genuine concern and compassion.
