Scott J Schwartz, MD

Scott Schwartz, MD is a board-certified otolaryngologist - head & neck surgeon. Dr. Schwartz received his bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan and completed medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

During his time in residency, Dr. Schwartz had the rewarding opportunity to participate in a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic. With a team of 15 people, they were able to provide free surgical and office-based otolaryngology care to hundreds of local residents. Dr. Schwartz will forever be grateful for the experience of providing needed care in an underserved area of the world.

Dr. Schwartz practices all aspects of otolaryngology with special interests in surgical treatment of sleep apnea, diseases of the salivary glands, sinus surgery, as well as voice and swallowing disorders.

As a born and raised Michigander, Dr. Schwartz is happy to be back in the “Mitten” and provide services to the community he loves. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, golf, and rooting for the University of Michigan football team.
