Shaina Aifuwa, MD

Shaina Aifuwa, MD, is a board-eligible adult outpatient psychiatrist. Dr. Aifuwa obtained her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. She earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Central Florida/HCA GME Consortium in Gainesville, FL. She was the education chief resident during her final year. Dr. Aifuwa's clinical interests include the evaluation and treatment of several psychiatric disorders, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, OCD, psychotic disorders, and perinatal mental health. She is deeply committed to assisting socially and economically disadvantaged populations.
