As an anesthesiologist, I am deeply committed to keeping patients safe, advocating for their needs and delivering the highest quality of care. My passion for medicine was shaped early on by a caring pediatric ophthalmologist and strengthened by witnessing my mother’s cancer journey. I recognize that my patients are often facing unwelcome situations and I strive to approach each encounter with empathy, reassurance and attentiveness. Qualifications • Medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago • Anesthesiology residency and cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina • Fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiologists • Master’s degree in business administration from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor • Air Force veteran Services and special interests • Cardiac, lung and vascular surgery anesthesiology • Board certified in echocardiography
