Shefali Sharma, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified physician specializing in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Sharma earned her medical degree from University of Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York, her pelvic surgery robotics fellowship at Northwest Hospital, University of Washington in Seattle and her female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Sharma is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery for pelvic organ prolapse, including robotic-assisted surgery, and the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders.

    This visit was great but previous visit left me feeling that Dr. Sharma did not care about my issues and that she didn’t want to help in my care. This visit was much better. Maybe it was just an off day for her last visit. I left there feeling like there was no hope in helping my issues and that I was just wasting Dr. Sharma’s time.
