Spencer J Adams, MD

Dr. Spencer Adams joined ABC Pediatrics after completing his pediatric residency at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. He earned his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from George Washington University. Prior to medical school, he worked in public health and infection prevention, experiences that continue to shape his patient-centered approach to care.

Dr. Adams enjoys all aspects of general pediatrics and has a special interest in quality improvement, child safety, youth sports, and preventive medicine. He is passionate about partnering with families to support their children’s health and development from infancy through adolescence.

Originally from Colorado, Dr. Adams is happy to call West Michigan home. He and his wife stay busy raising their two kids. Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, watching and playing sports, and staying active in his local church.
