About Stefani J Hines
About the Provider
Growing up, my younger brother struggled with speech and language delays, and reading. As his older sister, I wanted to understand his struggles. This led to a desire to help other children who have similar issues. I specialize in developmental-behavioral pediatrics with special clinical interests in learning disabilities/dyslexia evaluations, ADHD, autism, and intellectual disabilities.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, I try to understand each child holistically. This includes thoroughly reviewing each child’s medical history and developmental, educational, social, and family histories. It also means conducting tailored developmental testing, as well as physical and neurological examinations.
I enjoy the opportunity to "put pieces of a puzzle together" to better understand each child's strengths to help them thrive in school, at home, and in the community.
