We would really like to thank Dr. Macedo for his wonderful care. He evaluated me for hospital follow up for pneumonia and to perform a 6 minute walk test and was kind and reassuring. I was too sick at the time to tell him what a difference he made so I hope these comments get to him now.

More information would be appreciated. More holistic care approach.

The measures I outlined have taken hold reducing stomach pain and greatly improving bowel movements. I had brought up that I am due for a colonoscopy and that maybe an endoscopy would be beneficial as well. I believe a referral was made but Dr Macedo never indicated if I would be contacted or if I needed to contact a provider. It is noted in the post visit notes.

Dr Macedo was great. The person who did the initial part of the visit, i.e. blood pressure, weight, etc, had an accent and spoke very softly making it difficult for me to understand him. I’m in my 70’s which makes it more difficult. If the patient had been my husband, it would have been more difficult.

Dr. Macedo was patient and attentive. He was ready to answer any questions and address any concerns.

I appreciate that I don't have to wait long to be seen. The staff who check my chart and ask questions are kind. I see Dr. Macedo once every three months for diabetic checkups. He always asks how I'm doing and before the end of the appointment he asks if there is anything else I'd we need to talk about.

Totally confident in my doctors evaluation.

Was not impressed with Dr. Macedo. First he never knocked before he came in, just walked in straight to the computer with no introduction, I had to initiate conversation with him and had to continue to carry our conversation. He would ignore any suggestions that I brought up, or would constantly say “It’s hard to say” never giving me a straight answer or resolution. Felt like he was upset being there and would rather be some where else, or see a different patient.
