Steven Timmis is what I would call a SUPER doctor. He takes the time to speak with the patient and get a full understanding of the patient’s medical history and problems. He reviews EKG and blood panel results during the office visit. His staff is excellent. Except for his scheduling person. I schedule doctor appointments a year in advance because I am not in the Southfield area all the time. She mentioned appointments were available near the end of the month (Sept) the following year (2026) but insisted she WOULD NOT schedule me because she mentioned the order for bloodwork would expire. I even asked if I could call later in the month to reschedule for the later date, and she clearly said that could and WOULD NOT be done. I assume she could have requested from the doctor another order for bloodwork for the later date.

Out of all the healthcare providers I have met, Dr Steve Timmis is the most personable, patient and the best communicator. Additionally he seems to be up to date on the very latest details in the field.

He knows my problem and addresses it like he doesn't have any other patients. It's a great one on one experience.
