Steven Hendrick, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. He began his career in bariatric surgery in 2003, and has performed more than 2,000 bariatric cases. He specializes in Laparoscopic/Robotic Roux-N-Y gastric bypass, Laparoscopic Sleeve gastrectomy, and revisionary Bariatric surgery. Dr. Hendrick's interests also include minimally invasive approaches to general surgery conditions. His philosophy is to treat the patient as if they were family. He will listen to your concerns and will come up with a plan that will work best for you. Once you walk through his office doors, you are now part of the family, and are not doing this on your own. Everyone in the office wants you to succeed. Dr. Hendrick's goal for all of his patients is to like the way they look, like the way they feel and most important, be healthy.

Dr Hendrick is a wonderful human being. He is knowledgeable. He cares about his patients. He has a very calming presence. He is firm, but not overbearing. He understands the difficulties someone my size faces daily. I feel safe with him as my surgeon.

Very knowledgeable trustworthy and honest. He gives you the good and bad and make sure you understand what he is conveying. I truly believes he cares 100 percent about each and every patient he comes across and that is very hard to find.
