I really needed very little interaction with Dr. Potluri - my oncologist referred me because a cyst showed on my CT scan, Dr. P suggested an MRI to rule out a tumor, and was able to tell me the positive news.

Patients need to be given as much info as possible on their conditions, causes, remedies and treatments. During my whole ordeal. I learned a vast amount more by going online than the staff ever told me and wonder why info was not being shared. This also can make a patient hesitant to talk openly. At each appt thru my ordeal I had lists of questions and feel the lack of sharing full info caused me more pain and a delay in my recovery.
